Educational Qualification
For Rajasthan GNM Admission 2023, candidates must have passed 12th class from any recognized board.
- Those students who have passed class 12 with Biology stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) will be given preference.
- If the number of candidates applying for Biology stream is 0, then candidates from other subject streams will be given priority in admission.
- For those students who come from General, Other Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section, minimum 40% marks in class 12 and minimum 35% marks are mandatory for the students belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category.
Rajasthan GNM Admission Form 2023 Form Guideline
Registration, application form and option form for admission in Rajasthan GNM Nursing Course 2023 will be filled online through E-mitra Kiosk.
- The duration and curriculum of General Nursing training is three years as per the curriculum prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council which also includes six months internship. The duration of GNM training is also fixed at three years for permanent employees working in the Medical and Health Department (6 months exemption for midwifery training is not given to ANMs.)
- In accordance with the order number Manyata/EQ/1045 dated 05.07.2011 and letter number 2042 dated 17.11.2011 of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer, the State Government’s I.D. As per approval No. 586 dated 18.07.2014, candidates who have passed secondary from Jamia Urdu Aligarh Board will be included in the admission process of this training.
- Selection of female and male candidates for training will be in the ratio of 80:20. In case of non-availability of female candidates in any category/category, admission will be given to male candidates of the same category/category.
- State level/district level merit list will be prepared as per rules for selection in training. According to the choices presented by the candidate, category/category wise student allocation will be done on all the seats available in private nursing institutions through state level merit in government institutions and district level merit. Therefore, only one online application form will have to be filled for government/private nursing institutions. Advance amount of Rs 500/- (NON REFUNDABLE) for counseling for admission in government nursing school and private nursing school running in private sector, in the account number 14630100006718 of Bank of Baroda, Branch Udyog Bhawan, Jaipur, to the ex-officio President, Rajasthan Nursing Council and It is mandatory to submit it in the name of Director (Public Health), receipt of which is mandatory for the candidate to scan through the link given on the departmental website before online counselling, and upload it along with the option letter. Only after that the candidate will be allowed to take admission in online counselling. This amount will be adjusted in the fee amount.
- It is mandatory for the candidate to be completely healthy, for which he will
have to present the health certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of joining the training. If a female candidate is found pregnant at the time of selection, she will be included in the training in the next batch without applying again, provided that the candidate is fully eligible for the remaining conditions of selection. - Possible month of commencement of the session is February, 2024
- The list of government/private nursing schools and the number of seats allotted for admission in them will be made available on the departmental website before counselling.
- The caste/category in which the candidate has applied will be considered for seat allotment in the same caste/category. If the required certificate is not attached, the candidate’s application will be considered canceled and no change in category will be made later.

Rajasthan GNM Admission Form 2023 Selection Process
After completion of the application process in Rajasthan GNM Nursing Admission Form 2023, the candidate will be selected on the basis of merit list. Once your name appears in the merit list, you will have to participate in the counseling process. And after counselling, the candidate will be selected.
Rajasthan GNM Counseling 2023
- Training centers will be allotted to regular (permanent) departmental employees working in government service only through government counselling. Mr. Joint Government Secretary (Group-3), Medical and Health, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur, by order number F 33 (01) Chiswa / Group-9/2022 / Part dated 27.06.2023, all the candidates of the state for GNM Nursing course from the session 2023-24. Hundred percent student allocation in government and private nursing institutions will be done by the state government only.
- Information about the first online counseling (detailed schedule) will be published on www.rajswasthya.nic.in / notice boards and newspapers. In this, the list of seats of nursing schools running in government/private sector will be made available. The candidate will fill and submit his option letter online on the basis of the available list of nursing schools released on the departmental website. For this, the department will inform the candidates four times the category wise reservation on the basis of state level/district level merit on the mobile number provided in the application form. No separate information will be given to the candidate in this regard.
- To participate in the counseling process, the candidate can select government training centers and private training centers of maximum 10 districts of his preference and submit the option letter. According to the options presented by the candidate, category/category wise student allocation will be done on all the seats available in private nursing institutions through state level merit in government institutions and district level merit.
- After the first counseling of government/private nursing schools, the concerned government/private nursing school will have to provide the information about the presence of the admitted candidates to the directorate immediately after the scheduled date of January 5, 2024. If information about the present candidates is not given by any institute or there is delay in giving information, then the seats remaining vacant due to non-allocation of candidates in such government/private nursing schools will be the responsibility of the government/private nursing school itself. That nursing school will not be included in the upcoming counselling.
- The original certificates of the admitted candidates/prescribed certificates of being department staff/caste certificate/academic mark sheets etc. of the admitted candidates will remain in their nursing schools and will be returned only after getting them verified from the concerned board/institution. If any document is found to be fake/authentic during verification, then such candidates will be immediately separated from the training and legal action will be taken against them as per rules
. It will be the responsibility of the head of the institution to verify the documents submitted by the candidate.
Fees for Rajasthan GNM Nursing Course 2023
Before online counselling, candidates taking admission in government schools and private sector nursing schools will have to pay an advance amount of Rs 500/- (Rs 500 only) (NON REFUNDABLE) fixed by the state government for admission in online counselling, Bank of Baroda, Branch. It is mandatory to deposit in the name of ex-officio President, Rajasthan Nursing Council and Director (Public Health) in the account number 14630100006718 of Udyog Bhawan, Jaipur. After admission, the fee amount will have to be deposited along with the original documents at the time of attendance at the allotted training centre.
- For admission in nursing schools run in the private sector, the fee for the said course by the state government is Rs 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) as annual maximum and hostel (in case of residence) fee as single bedded room Rs 15,000/- maximum, double The maximum price for a bedded room is Rs 12,000/- and the maximum for a triple bedded room is Rs 10,000/-.
